The applicants must be students from selected Indian higher education institutions such IITs, NITs, VIT, BITS and other reputed universities.
Applicants background must from subject areas of engineering, mathematics and science.
Candidates must be in their fifth or sixth semester of a Bachelor’s programme or can be in their fifth, sixth, seventh or eighth semester of an integrated or dual degree programme.
The successful recipients of previous WISE scholarship are ineligible to apply.
Duration and Value
The funding will be provided to the applicants for 2 to 3 months. Internships for less than two months are not funded.
The award will be of EUR 650/month for undergraduate students and it also includes EUR 550 towards travel subsidy.
The award also covers health, accident and personal liability insurance.
The candidates are selected based on the academic achievements.
The successful candidates will be announced by beginning of February.
