Eligibility

  • The programme is open to applicants of India.
  • The applicants must be students from selected Indian higher education institutions such IITs, NITs, VIT, BITS and other reputed universities.
  • Applicants background must from subject areas of engineering, mathematics and science.
  • Candidates must be in their fifth or sixth semester of a Bachelor’s programme or can be in their fifth, sixth, seventh or eighth semester of an integrated or dual degree programme.
  • The successful recipients of previous WISE scholarship are ineligible to apply.

Duration and Value

  • The funding will be provided to the applicants for 2 to 3 months. Internships for less than two months are not funded.
  • The award will be of EUR 650/month for undergraduate students and it also includes EUR 550 towards travel subsidy.
  • The award also covers health, accident and personal liability insurance.

Selection Criteria

  • The candidates are selected based on the academic achievements.
  • The successful candidates will be announced by beginning of February.
