Eligibility

  • Applicants must have completed their undergraduate degree and should be working towards a Master degree.
  • Candidates applying should be enrolled in a recognized university.
  • The background of the candidate should be in fields related to economics, international law, international relations, political science, human resources, environmental sciences, natural sciences, and/or public administration, event management, IT/computer sciences, and communication.
  • Applicants should be able to communicate and work in English.
  • Candidates, whose higher education is not sorted into undergraduate and postgraduate, should have completed at least four years of his/her study.
  • The candidates applying should not be related to a staff member of the UNFCCC secretariat.
  • UNFCCC does not guarantee a job offer upon completion of the scholarship.

Documents required

  • The candidates applying should submit a detailed curriculum vitae.
  • A paper should be submitted explaining the reason for requesting an internship and intended goals to be achieved.
