The Academy Of Medical Sciences Internship, 2017 is open to Ph.D. students who wish to have an experience of the medical science policy environment and also to gain an understanding of how research can impact policy.

Eligibility criteria:

  • The internship is open to Wellcome Trust four-year Ph.D. Programme students.
  • Students in their third or fourth year of their studentship are eligible for the internship.
  • Applicants of The Academy Of Medical Sciences Internship, 2017 can apply during their second year as well.

Documents Required:

  • Curriculum Vitae must be submitted.
  • Applicants of The Academy Of Medical Sciences Internship, 2017 must submit a short cover letter expressing the reason for applying.
  • The applicant must submit an article of 800 words regarding medical science policy.
  • Completed application form must include an endorsement, a supporting statement by the applicant's supervisor and recommendation by the Programme sponsor.
