He/She should have at least three years of experience in covering subject areas like science, technology, the environment, or medicine.
The applicant must be a reporter, writer, editor, producer, illustrator, filmmaker, or photojournalist.
They can also work for newspapers, magazines, television, radio, and digital media.
The applicants must reside full-time in the Boston/Cambridge area for the academic year.
He/She should attend the field trips, seminars, and required training sessions hosted by the Knight Science Journalism Fellowships.
Participation of the candidates in at least one science course per semester.
The applicants must also produce two short journalistic works for the programme’s magazine.
For International candidates, J-1 visa must be required from the U.S. State Department after being awarded the Fellowship.
