The University Of Southern California (USC) is inviting applications for SURE: Summer Undergraduate Research Experience at USC, 2018.

Eligibility for Summer Undergraduate Research Experience, 2018:

  • The candidates should be citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. or citizens of Canada.
  • The applicants for SURE: Summer Undergraduate Research Experience at USC, 2018 must be sophomores or junior-year undergraduate students.
  • The candidates are required to have 3.5 GPA or higher in the fields of hard science (biology, chemistry, physics), math, or engineering.
  • The applicants should be interested in pursuing Ph.D. and in conducting research.

Documents required:

  • The candidates applying for SURE: Summer Undergraduate Research Experience at USC, 2018 must submit curriculum vitae.
  • The applicants are required to submit a scanned copy of the official university-issued transcript and the digital transcript issued by school's registrar office.
  • The candidates should also submit a statement of purpose describing their interest in the program and how will it help them in reaching their academic goals in not more than 1 page.
  • Two academic recommendation letters should also be submitted.

Value of the program:

The recipients of SURE: Summer Undergraduate Research Experience at USC, 2018 get $4500 stipend, travel to and from Los Angeles, and university housing.
