  • Applicants who are currently pursuing Ph.D. in Computer Science or quantitative field or related STEM or related experience are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must be enrolled in a full-time degree program.
  • After completion of the Internship, candidates must return to their degree program.
  • Applicants with research experience in a related field, such as pattern recognition, machine learning, signal processing, NLP, artificial intelligence, computer vision, recommendation systems or data mining are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates who have expertise in algorithms or systems software are preferred.
  • Experience in Perl,C/C++, Java or PHP is a bonus.
  • Candidates who well versed in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, PHP and shell scripts are considered.
  • Applicants who have experience with Hadoop/Hbase/Pig or MapReduce/Sawzall/Bigtable is preferred.
  • Candidates who possess outstanding interpersonal skills, cross-group and cross-culture collaboration is a plus.
  • Candidates with a potential of achieving significant results will be considered.
  • Must be quick with problem-solving and possess a high level of creativity.
  • Applicants must have the ability to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2016.
