EMBO Short-Term Fellowships , 2017

• Candidates applying for EMBO Short-Term Fellowships, 2017 must be researchers at any stage who are active in their career with at least one year of research experience at PhD-student level.
• Candidates who submitted applications to attend symposia, workshops, or courses will not be taken into consideration.
• Applications that are submitted for extension of visits begun under other auspices, or as bridging fellowships between, or prior to, long term stays funded by EMBO or other organizations will not be considered.
• Applications must not be made for purpose of training in a technique.
• Candidates must submit the applications of EMBO Short-Term Fellowships, 2017 from EMBC Member States, Associated Member States or Cooperation Partners.
• Applications for research exchanges that involves Chile and one of the EMBC Member Sates or Cooperation Partners will be considered for EMBO Short-Term Fellowships, 2017.
• Only the research exchanges between laboratories in EMBC Member States, Associated Member States or Cooperation Partners will be awarded. 

Selection Criteria:

• The applicants' quality, research project and also receiving laboratory is taken into consideration.
• The projected benefit to the home laboratory of the applicant is supposed to be the major criteria for selection.
• The priority of funding depends on the applicant's research experience.
