The Department of Geography and Earth Science, Shippensburg University is offering Shippensburg University Geography and Earth Science Internships, 2020 to undergraduate and graduate students. The undergraduate students should complete three internship credits and a maximum of 9 internship credits and graduate students should complete six internship credits.

Eligibility for Shippensburg University Geography and Earth Science Internships, 2020:

For undergraduates:

  • Students must have at least 60 credits.
  • A 2.0 overall GPA is required.
  • Undergraduates in our program are required to take 3 credits of internship; a maximum of 9 credits is allowed.  

For graduate students: 

  • A 3.0  overall GPA is required to take an internship.
  • Non-thesis graduate students must complete 6 credits of internship; a maximum of six is allowed.

 

Documents required:

  • The candidates applying for Shippensburg University Geography and Earth Science Internships, 2020 should submit "an intent to apply for an internship" online form.
  • The applicants who do not submit the intent form will be denied internship.
  • The candidates should submit the College of Arts and Sciences internship application after securing an internship placement.
  • The candidates applying for Fall or Summer internship should submit the intent by March 15 and candidates applying for Spring internship should submit the intent by October 15. 
  • The applicants for fall internships should submit necessary paperwork by June 1 of the prior semester, applicants for Spring internships by December 1 of the prior semester and Summer internships by May 15.
