Indigenous Students who are currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree course will have the opportunity to work with Rio Tinto group and gain experience in a real working environment and simultaneously continue their studies.

Eligibility for Rio Tinto Indigenous Cadetship:

  • Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree course.
  • Candidates must be pursuing a full-time study at an Australian University.

Duration:

  • Selected candidates will have Twelve weeks of paid vacation employment.
  • Applicants will be able to develop their Technical skills.
  • Applicants will have an overall experience in a global workspace.

Value of Internship:

  • Applicants will be provided with an annual study allowance of A$14,400
  • Annual textbook allowance of A$1,000.
