National Institute of Genetics (NIG) is offering NIGINTERN Research Internship, 2018 to undergraduate students who wish to earn research experience in genetics and related fields in life sciences.

Eligibility for NIGINTERN Research Internship Program, 2018:

  • NIGINTERN Research Internship Program is open to all nationals.
  • Applicant must be a prefinal-year student of any bachelor program at time of application. 
  • Applicants must live outside Japan at the time of application.
  • Applicants must have an interest in life sciences.
  • Applicants must belong to either of the following categories:
  1. Third year of a 4-year bachelor's program
  2. Fourth year of a 5-year master/ bachelor dual-degree program
  3. First year of a 2-year master program

Documents required:

Applicants of NIGINTERN Research Internship, 2018 must submit the following documents:

  • Two letters of recommendation including registration number
  • Curriculum vitae

 

Value of Internship:

Internship covers costs of airfare, local transportation, lodging in the institute’s guesthouse, and travel insurance during the program
