  • The applicants for New-York Historical Society High School Internships, 2016 should be enrolled in grades 10, 11, or 12 in the tri-state area.
  • The candidates should have parent's or guardian's consent.
  • The applicants can be offered paid or unpaid internships.
  • The candidates eligible for free or reduced lunch at school will be offered paid internships.
  • All applicants who attend NYC high schools will be considered for this opportunity. 
  • The candidates should specify whether they are eligible for the free lunch at school in their application.
  • The accepted applicants for New-York Historical Society High School Internships, 2016 be given unpaid internships with an option to receive community service hours or school credit.
  • Those who are offered unpaid internships should have all the necessary documents to be employed in the US.
  • The candidates should submit the application form before the specified deadline.
  • The recommender form should be completed by the recommender of the applicant and submit before the specified deadline.
  • The successful candidates should research documents, art, and artifacts from New-York Historical's collections for museum visitors and the New-York Historical Society website.
