Marine Mammals Internship Shedd Aquarium

Eligibility

• The candidate should be in a degree program either junior or senior or have graduated. 
• The candidates with a background in marine science or a related field are given priority.
• Candidates looking for to enter a marine mammal or related field are given preference.
• High-quality work and the ability to work in a team are required.
• The candidate should be able to regularly work all weekend days and holidays, and late night shifts.
• Applicant should also be able to lift objects in excess of 40 pounds daily, and periodic lifting in excess of 70 pounds.
• Withstand the exposure to very cold temperatures and to salt water on a daily basis.
• The candidate should commit 20 weeks, 30 to 35 hours a week.
