IFC’s summer internships are paid positions. Following a thorough evaluation process at the conclusion of the internship, successful interns are encouraged to apply for an Associate Investment Officer or any other full-time opportunity available after graduation.
Eligibility: Interns must be a citizen of a member country of the World Bank Group to be eligible for employment. You must be older than 18 years and not older than 60 years at time of application.
Number of awards offered: The program is very competitive: IFC receive about 1500 applications each year, from which 30-40 candidates are selected.
Internship Duration: 4 weeks
Note: Applications of short-listed candidates will be posted in an Internship Program database accessible by all IFC departments globally. Individual departments contact candidates directly for interviews and usually conclude their hiring decisions between mid-March and end of April. If you have not been contacted by a hiring department by April 30, 2016 then you have not been selected/short-listed for an interview/position and no additional notices concerning status will be sent/provided.
