The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (formerly University of Roorkee), a premier Institute of Science and technology, has a distinguished tradition of excellence spanning over 166 years. The Departments/ centres of the Institute are engaged in teaching, research and consultancy in the field of Engineering, Technology, Science and Management. The Institute offers 23 undergraduate courses including IDD and Integrated M.Tech. in Engineering & Architecture and 49 postgraduate courses in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Technology and Business Administration.
Field of Internship:
Internships are awarded in the field of Engineering in the departments of
Eligibility: Students from any Engineering College/Institute are eligible for Summer Internship Programme.
Number of awards offered: A faculty can take only one candidate for the summer internship provided faculty is available in station during the summer vacation.
Internship Duration: Applications are invited from the students of Engineering Institute for Summer Internship Programme during the period May 15, 2016 to July 15, 2016 in the following Departments/ Centres.
Note: The selection of candidates for summer internship will be done centrally by January 31, 2016 to ensure good candidates come for summer internship.
