IHS Internship Positions, 2017

The Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS), Erasmus University Rotterdam is offering Internships on Urban Sustainability and Climate Change.

Eligibility

• The applicants for IHS Internship Positions, 2017 can be of any nationality but should have a Dutch residence permit. 
• Only students who are EU citizens and international students who study in Dutch Universities hold a Dutch residence permit.
• The internship is part of a work placement contract between the university where the candidate is pursuing their master's degree and IHS.
• The applicants are required to be students of master's program which requires a work placement/internship.
• The candidates should be pursuing master's program in the fields of Economics, Environmental management, Sustainability, Planning, and Urban Management.
• The applicants must have knowledge, interest, and experience in carbon markets, urban sustainability benefits, climate change adaptation assessment, sustainability indicators, ecosystem services evaluation, and Cost-effectiveness analysis, Cost Benefit Analysis, Multiple Criteria Analysis for sustainability, Sustainability assessment methodologies, and approaches.
• The candidates should also have strong organizational skills and analytical skills.
• A very strong command of spoken and written English is required.
