Great Minds student internships, 2017 is a competition for internships for students from central and eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to work with IBM in Switzerland, Ireland, Kenya or South Africa. The duration of internships is between 3-6 months.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates applying for Great Minds student internships, 2017 full-time Master's students enrolled in one of the following fields:
    • Computer Science
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Physics
    • Software Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Service Science
  • Applicants must be studying at one of the recognized universities in central or eastern Europe, the Middle East or Africa.
  • Students must have a solid command of written and spoken English.
  • Applicants from both the genders and minority groups are eligible to apply for Great Minds student internships, 2017.
  • Qualified women are encouraged to apply for the competition.
  • Nomination of the participants must be done by the faculty members and a recommendation letter is mandatory.
  • Applicants of Great Minds student internships, 2017 must submit their CV A LIST OF Three research areas, possible start dates, duration, and information according to the guidelines mentioned.
  • personal information (name, address, phone number, email address), education details, graduation date, skills, awards/recognitions received and work experience must be included in the CV.
  • A position paper of 1-2 pages must be submitted that should describe the following:
    • Most relevant and interesting applications in the area of interests chosen.
    • Technical challenges
    • Goals of the applicant in the fields selected
    • Goals they wish to accomplish during the internship
