Essex International Visiting Fellowships, 2017

The Univeristy of Essex is offering International visiting fellowships to excellent researchers to take up research at the University of Essex.

Eligibility

• The applicants for Essex International Visiting Fellowships, 2017 should be international researchers outside of the UK.
• The candidates should have a track record of significant output and should be demonstrated in the peer-reviewed literature.
• The applicants should be committed to quality research outputs. 
• The Ph.D. students and post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.
• The applications should be supported by a senior Essex academic.

Documents required

• The candidates applying for Essex International Visiting Fellowships, 2017 should create an account.
• The applicants will receive an e-mail from the system to activate the account. 
• The candidates should start completing the application form.
• The applicants should submit a curriculum vitae and a research activity proposal in one to two A4 pages.
• The candidates are expected to submit a signed letter of support from the hosting department at Essex on an official letter headed paper.

Selection Criteria

• The applicants are selected on the basis of their quality of the contribution to their field, depth, and breadth of research constituency to which the candidate will appeal.
• The candidates will also be assessed on the program's ability to enrich the research environment and advance collaborative research activities.

Value of the fellowship
The recipients of Essex International Visiting Fellowships, 2017 get £100 per week, economy travel fare, and self-catering accommodation including the utility's cost.
