EFEO Field Scholarships

Eligibility

• Applicants must hold a BA, MA degree or a recognized equivalent qualification.
• He/She must be pursuing research in humanities or social sciences applied to the history and civilizations of Asia.
• Applicants are expected to have a good command over English and other languages as well.
• Applicants must complete their field research project
• Applicants are required to have a working knowledge of French.
• The scholarships are tenable in EFEO Centres in Asia. 

Documents Required

• Applicants are required to submit a cover letter addressed to the Director of the EFEO.
• A detailed copy of the candidate's CV along with their academic transcripts must be submitted.
• Applicants need to provide a letter of recommendation by the thesis director or research supervisor.
• Must a brief description of the research project in 1-5 pages including a work schedule and a budget.
• Applicants must submit a photocopy of their valid ID and
• A photocopy of the student card must be submitted as well.
