The Department of Environmental Affairs is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for the 2019-20 Internship Program.

Eligibility for DEA Internship, 2019-20:

  • The applicants for DEA Internship, 2019-20 should have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification from a recognized Higher Education Institution.
  • The candidates with disabilities will be given preference.
  • The applicants for DEA Internship, 2019-20 who are currently unemployed or who have not previously participated in any Internship program are invited to apply.
  • The candidates should only apply for one study field per application.

Documents required:

  • The applicants should submit the application on a completed Z83 form indicating “Internship & Study Field” and the “Ref Number”.
  • The candidates should also submit curriculum vitae, academic transcripts, and certified copies of ID and qualifications.

Value of Allowance paid:

  • The recipients of DEA Internship, 2019-20 get an allowance of R5000.00 per month.
