Eligibility

  • Applicants from Australia and New Zealand are eligible for the Internship.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in bachelor’s or master's degree.
  • Preferably in technical fields, such as Computer Science, Networking, Information Technology, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or any relevant area.
  • Candidates must be driven and passionate about computer science, networking or information technology.
  • Applicants must be fluent in both written and verbal English.
  • Applicant must have an understanding of holding Cisco Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP), adjacent technologies or industry recognized certifications.
  • Candidates must possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Applicants must be able to multi-task, be self-motivated and work in fast paced teams and work independently.
  • Applicants must be open to new challenges and hone new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Selected candidates will gain first-hand experience with next-generation technology in Cisco’s Advanced Labs.
  • Applicants will create services that help customers manage their networks while providing tactical and strategic support.
  • Applicants will get to build networks consisting of a range of Cisco equipment on daily.
  • Applicants will be monitoring and tracking network recreate requests. 
  • Applicants will have the opportunity to work alongside mentors co-ops and peers.
  • Supporting the lab infrastructure is another task assigned to the applicant.
  • Applicants will receive in-depth training and build skills at the same time earn industry-leading certifications.
  • Based on your skill set and business need, you may be assigned as a Customer Support Engineer.
