The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is offering numerous internships for the Winter of 2016. These are 14 week (40 hours per week unpaid, un-benefited) internships within various departments within our organization.The Winter 2016 internship will begin on Monday, January 11 and will end on Friday, April 15, 2016 (some with the potential for a 1-2 week extension). Regular off-days to be determined, but you must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Eligibility: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Current college junior or senior working toward a related field, Biology, Zoology, Environmental Education, formal Education, etc.; or within one year of graduation with a related degree.
  • Demonstrate commitment to working with children, adults and wildlife in a zoo setting. 3) Comfortable working with and handling many different species encompassing all classes of animals.
