Regarding the sequence in which the application for the scholarship and PhD is to be done
Respected sir/madam,I am currently working as research fellow in IIT-Bombay. I want to apply for PhD in Mechanical or aerospace engineering. So how should I proceed? Should I first apply for the PhD position in relevant college and then for the scholarship or First for the scholarship and then for the course?Thanking you.
Scholarships are either provided by the University itself for a particular level of study like Masters/PhD etc or Government or Companies provides the Scholarships to students planning on doing their studies abroad. The Government or Companies scholarships are generally provided to candidates who are enrolled in an University . Whereas the University Scholarship is something you can directly apply .I have found a list of scholarships for PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering ,you can have a look http://www.wemakescholars.com/scholarship/search?study=4&interest=2-6
