Swedish: IEST 2014 Letter of recommendation: To whom it may concern, I met Hannah-Molly Brown at Internationella Engelska Skolan i Täby where she works as a teacher in textiles. She invited me and two of my colleagues to arrange a textile workshop for her students in June 2017. I know Hannah as an inspiring, driven and ambitious person. She is skilled in a wide range of textile crafts and she is constantly looking for new ways to share her knowledge with the students. Through hands-on experiments she puts traditional textile techniques in contemporary contexts, and engages others to play along. Hannah is especially interested in environmental sustainability. Natural dyes and material re-use are important components in her work, combined with techniques such as sewing, weaving, knitting, and crochet. I think Hannah has a lot to add to the field of textile crafts when it comes to sharing knowledge with a sustainable approach. I look forward to following her inclusive and generous way of working and I highly recommend anyone to engage with her for artistic and pedagogic projects.
