About this course

The School of Geographical Sciences is one of the world's leading international centres for research. It has been ranked the top Geography department in the UK in every government assessment of research excellence. The Graduate School is integral to this success.

The excellence of Bristol's social science research was confirmed by REF 2014. Overall, when intensity is taken into account, The Faculty of Social Sciences and Law ranks second in the country. The School of Geographical Sciences ranked first.
