About this course

Offered in collaboration between the Institute on Asian Consumer Insight (ACI) and the Nanyang Business School, NTU Singapore, the Master of Science (Marketing & Consumer Insight) programme is designed for ambitious and committed individuals exploring career opportunities in marketing and consumer insight, or those working closely with marketers in their management roles.

 Intensive and academically challenging, the programme focuses on developing the skills required to analyse, evaluate and appreciate the unique needs of Asian consumers. With an analytical, quantitative and qualitative understanding of Asian consumers, graduates of the programme will empower companies with the competitive edge in product innovation, design, branding and communications.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate is required to possess :

  • A strong Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years' or more of full-time relevant work experience
  • A GMAT score (NTU DI code is V24-ZV-13).  This may be waived if the applicant has more than 5 years of full-time relevant work experience at point of admission.
  • Proficiency in English
  • IELTS or TOEFL is required if your undergraduate studies was not conducted in English. The minimum acceptable scores are as follows: 6.5 for IELTS; for TOEFL, 600 for paper-based tests, 250 for computer-based tests, 100 for internet-based tests.

  • Resume or career summary, including details of your current job responsibilities and reporting relationships.
  • Statement of interest (about 1000 words) including your purpose for enrolling in the programme and past experiences.
  • Contact information of three references:  (please note that references from subordinates, immediate family members and/or relatives are not acceptable)
  • Copy of identity card (both sides) for Singapore citizens and Singapore permanent residents; or copy of relevant pages in passport for international applicants.
  • GMAT results slip. If you've not taken the test, please indicate the test date that you've registered for.
  • IELTS / TOEFL results slip, if your undergraduate studies were not conducted in English.
  • Passport size colour photo of yourself with white background.
  • Online payment of application fee (non-refundable) of S$100, via credit card (Visa or Mastercard only).
