About this course

The MSc in Business Administration aims to be the gateway for ambitious students with an entrepreneurial, global mind-set to an international career in business. Students enrolled in the programme will gain a deep understanding of management in one of the seven specialisations they can choose from. They will be challenged to solve real-life cases presented by the corporate partners of the University.

Course Modules

First semester

  • The year begins with two foundational courses on business theory, which serve as an introduction to the two initial tracks of your choice.
  • In addition, students are invited to attend a unique series of seminars featuring top-level speakers from the business community, such as the President of Unilever Europe, the CEO of Huawei NL, the CEO of Vodafone NL and the Director of Boom Chicago.
  • After the first block they choose a definitive track, which will be explored in greater depth in the second period.
  • Students can also enhance their specialisation by attending two track-specific core courses.
  • In the third period, they formulate a thesis research subject while being introduced to research methodology.

Second semester

  • During the second semester, the focus is on writing a thesis, for which thesis workshops will help them in the process of collecting and analysing data.
  • This part of the programme is balanced by the opportunity to select two elective courses, allowing them to tailor the programme to their own interests and skills, and bridging the gap between theory and practice in The Business Lab.
