About this course

Aeronautical engineering is a multidisciplinary branch of engineering that encompasses aspects of mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering in the development of large and complicated engineering projects. It creates major challenges that arouse for improvements of aviation staffs’ capabilities and skills in developing and managing effectively and efficiently their respective domains.

In order to respond to these challenges, MSc program in Aeronautical Engineering (AE) is developed. It is offered by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of HKUST, in partnership with Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC), which is currently the largest aeronautical university in Europe and the only aviation-oriented university in France offering a wide and complete panel of aeronautics-oriented degree bearing programs and continuing & professional education programs, serving the aeronautical world, and particularly the air transport sector.
