Careers:

Occupational health and safety professionals work to enhance the safety and health of all workers. OHS professionals work anywhere there is a workplace, so your future place of work could be as diverse as a remote mine site, a large corporate office, a laboratory or a movie set; within Australia or internationally.

Occupational health and safety graduates enjoy a well paid and diverse career with an ability to work anywhere, including: remote, rural or urban regions; nationally or internationally; across all industries (including: mining, agricultural, retail, hospitality, construction, transport, manufacturing, health care); in government, private sector or consultancy, and enjoy flexible working conditions (including options for part-time work).

Professional memberships:

Graduates may be eligible for membership with the following professional bodies:

  • Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists Inc
  • Safety Institute of Australia Ltd
