About this course

The Master of Information Technology (Management) will broaden students’ career opportunities by developing their skills in I.T. application development combined with business management. This program has especially been designed for students who want to develop new or additional I.T. skills and become an inspirational IT business leader of the future. This program consists of an extensive menu of intermediate and advanced level courses which will prepare students for a dynamic information technology workforce. Job opportunities are widespread, as employers come to demand graduates with both IT and business skills. Graduates find work in large multinational companies; state and federal government departments; and in many small, specialised and emerging companies.

Careers:

Graduates of the Master of Information Technology (Management) will have completed an industrial-scale system from initial specification through to design, implementation and documentation, and will have a good knowledge of management issues.

Academic Requirement:

 For Australian students:

  • Bachelors degree in a field other than Information Technology.

 For International students:

  • Bachelors degree in a field other than Information Technology.
  • IELTS overall 6.5; reading 6; writing 6; speaking 6; listening 6.Study Abroad and Incoming Exchange students are only required to meet the overall score (eg 6.5 IELTS or 87 TOEFL or 64 PTE( Pearson Test of English )).
  • TOEFL (Paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language): 570 (5.0 in TWE (written), and 54 in reading & listening)

English language requirement:
