About this course

This new stream within the Department of Aeronautics builds on the space-related content introduced in the Aeronautical Engineering programme via the inclusion of advanced modules and project work related to design of systems for operation in space.

Students on the Aeronautics with Spacecraft Engineering programme will gain an analytical skillset appropriate to the design of spacecraft technologies and an understanding of the unique challenges when designing space systems for launch and operation.
All students should apply initially for the standard MEng Aeronautical Engineering degree (H401).
All students follow a common programme of study during the first two years. The first year provides a solid introduction to broad-based physical and engineering subjects. The college introduces more specialised aeronautical material, such as aerodynamics, structural analysis and the mechanics of flight, from year two onwards. T
