About this course

The degree of Master of Chinese Medicine is a postgraduate degree awarded for the satisfactory completion of the curriculum of 2 academic years or equivalent in the field of Internal Medicine in the School of Chinese Medicine, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, on a part-time basis.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the curriculum leading to the degree of Master of Chinese Medicine, a candidate shall:
  • comply with the General Regulations but with a waiver of Regulation G2
  • comply with the Regulations for Taught Postgraduate Curricula but with a waiver of Regulation TPG1(b)
  • hold the degree of Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine/Bachelor of Chinese Medicine of this University or a qualification of equivalent standard from another University or comparable institution accepted for this purpose; or a Bachelor’s degree in medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy or healthcare related programme and a diploma in Chinese Medicine from a University or comparable institution accepted for this purpose
