Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must normally hold a 2:1 undergraduate degree (or international equivalent) in law or in a related discipline, or be a qualified barrister or solicitor.
  • Applications from candidates who have achieved a comparable academic level through past studies and where previous study, work or experience has made the applicant a suitable candidate for admission may also be considered.

English language requirements:

How to Apply

Application procedure

All students apply through Informa for the Diploma, not through King's College London. Please visit theCentre of European Law webpage for further information and links. All MA applicants who have already completed the Diploma apply directly to King's.

We aim to turn around applications within four weeks.

Personal statement and supporting information

Applicants are required to submit a short personal statement and one professional or, if you are a recent graduate, one academic reference. 

Application closing date

The deadline for applications is 02 September for 2016 entry. Note that funding deadlines may be earlier. Applications will be considered subject to availability of places, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. International applications must be received by 29 July to allow sufficient time for visa processing.
