About this course

What Lawyers call international tax law is actually a fascinating mix of domestic law, treaty law and soft-law initiatives and this programme offers students the insight and skills they need to deal with this complex area.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who meet the following entry requirements are encouraged to apply:

  • a first degree that is either:
    • a university degree comparable with a Dutch Master's of Laws. Depending on the country, this may be an LLB or LLM (see ‘First degree’ below); OR
    • a university degree comparable with a Dutch Master's in a subject related to law, economics or business administration, including a study load equivalent to at least 30 ECTS in law (see 'ECTS', below). The 30 ECTS in law cannot be replaced by work experience;
    • in both cases, your study programme must have included at least 15 ECTS in tax law, or you must have acquired the equivalent competencies through work experience in tax law
  • English language proficiency
  • the willingness to participate actively in the classroom
  • an open mind towards different cultures.
