About this course

Delivered in the curriculum are such courses as 2D hand-drawn animation, 3D character animation, stop-motion, experimental animation, rigging, modeling, digital painting and compositing. The program encourages innovation and experimentation in the art-form combined with a solid education in the craft. The curriculum is divided in the third year of its delivery into separate Visual Effects and Character Animation streams.

To enable students to gain first-hand industry experience, ADM encourages all students to undertake internship. Internships last ten weeks and students will be supervised by the professors and relevant industry practitioners.?

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants with qualifications as deemed fit by the university (based on their online application) may be required to sit for an NTU Entrance Examination before a final decision on admission can be made. 

Mathematics at Junior High School Level/IB Standard Level AND A good grade in English at Senior High School Level / IB Standard Level. In addition, applicants are required to produce and submit the following materials for admission assessment: 

  • Portfolio
  • Personal Statement and Writing Samples
  • A Creative Project
  • Three Visuals
