About this course
The Bachelor of Business Management provides a comprehensive basis for a career in business while being flexible enough to let students pursue areas that particularly interest them. It is designed to equip students with the skills and self-confidence to effectively manage and adapt to a wide range of competitive and constantly changing business environments.
The compulsory courses allow students to develop core business skills. Students can then build on these by selecting one or two specialist areas including advertising, business economics, business information systems, human resources, international business, marketing, real estate and development, and sustainability. UQ Business School's lecturers and tutors are industry leaders and our vast network of industry contacts means they can develop practical experience at some of the world's leading companies.
This major provides an understanding of the key issues in international business management. Courses examine international trade and investment; international marketing; international human resource management; and the management of operations in firms engaged in international business, finance and strategy. Studenst will focus on the challenges encountered by Australian organisations conducting business in regions such as Asia, the European Union and the Americas.
Graduates work in a wide range of private businesses looking to expand operations or trading networks overseas. Career opportunities also exist in state and federal government agencies; and industry or trade associations.

2)Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent) English, Mathematics A or any combination of Mathematics A, B or C.

2)At least 6.5 overall and a minimum of 6.0 in each sub-band of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or equivalent test.
Study Abroad and Incoming Exchange students are only required to meet the overall score (eg 6.5 IELTS or 87 TOEFL or 64 PTE( Pearson Test of English )).

Applications must be lodged via the Online Application Form.Domestic applications for admission to all undergraduate programs are made online hrough the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC).If you are not a current Year 12 applicant, you will be asked to include details of any previous studies and any subsequent tertiary study (e.g. university or TAFE studies). If you believe your work experience is relevant to your application, please provide supporting documentation.
Additional application information:
Domestic students commencing this program with prior tertiary education may be eligible for advanced standing/credit transfer. Applications for credit need to be submitted as soon as possible after receiving an offer in the program.
International students commencing this program with prior tertiary education may be eligible for advanced standing/credit transfer.Domestic students may be eligible to study courses overseas as part of an approved exchange program.
